Once upon a time there was a printer who lived in the woods.\u00c2\u00a0 He was a
lonely printer, because nobody knew how to configure him.\u00c2\u00a0 He hoped
and hoped for someone to play with.<\/p>\n

One day, the wind passed by the printer’s cottage.\u00c2\u00a0 "Whoosh," said the
wind.\u00c2\u00a0 The printer became excited.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe the wind would be his
friend!\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n

"Will you be my friend?" the printer asked.<\/p>\n

"Whoosh," said the wind.<\/p>\n

"What does that mean?" asked the printer.<\/p>\n

"Whoosh," said the wind, and with that it was gone.<\/p>\n

The printer was confused.\u00c2\u00a0 He spent the rest of the day thinking and
jamming paper (for that is what little printers do when they are
confused).<\/p>\n

The next day a storm came.\u00c2\u00a0 The rain came pouring down, darkening the
morning sky and destroying the printer’s garden.\u00c2\u00a0 The little printer
was upset.\u00c2\u00a0 "Why are you being so mean to me?" he asked.<\/p>\n

"Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter," said the rain.<\/p>\n

"Will you be my friend?" the printer asked shyly.<\/p>\n

"Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter," said the rain, and then it left and
the sun came out.<\/p>\n

The printer was sad.\u00c2\u00a0 He spent the rest of the day inside, sobbing and
blinking lights cryptically (for that is what little printers do when
they are sad).<\/p>\n

Then one day, a little girl stumbled into the printer’s clearing in
the woods.\u00c2\u00a0 The printer looked at this curious sight.\u00c2\u00a0 He didn’t know
what to think.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n

The little girl looked up at him.\u00c2\u00a0 "Will you be my friend?" she asked.<\/p>\n

"Yes," said the printer.<\/p>\n

"What is your name?" asked the little girl.<\/p>\n

"HP 4100TN", replied the printer.<\/p>\n

"My name is gnome-cups-manager" said the little girl.<\/p>\n

The printer was happy.\u00c2\u00a0 He spent the rest of the day playing games and
printing documents, for that is what little printers do when they are
happy.<\/p>\n
